# API Changelog

> Breaking and additive changes to the Iris API schema.

  The API is pre-stable. While mainnet indexing is still pending, the schema may change (including breaking changes to query names, field names, types, and response shapes) without advance notice.

Dated entries begin once the API is stable. From that point on, every change to the served schema is recorded here, newest first, and breaking changes are announced before they land.

Until then, pin nothing to the shape of a response you haven't re-checked, and treat [Iris Core](/api/iris-core) as the current source of truth. The playground at [`https://api.iris.credit`](https://api.iris.credit) always carries the schema as served.
